The RDTC produces a range of high quality
publications in order to support its commissioners. Each service contributes to the production of several well recognised publications.
TOXBASE® is the online poisons information database maintained by the National Poisons Information Service (NPIS). All NPIS units including the RDTC contribute to TOXBASE® by updating, reviewing and producing new monographs. In addition UKTIS produces reviews on specific medications, chemicals and other exposures in pregnancy. Access
to full UKTIS and NPIS monographs are available free of charge to NHS health care professional at www.toxbase.org (registration is required). Open access to UKTIS monographs summaries is available here.
