Staff at the RDTC can provide training on various aspects of therapeutics, critical appraisal, academic detailing, medicines information and pharmacoeconomics. If you or your organisation is interested in any of these then please get in touch to discuss your training needs.
The Prescribing Analysis and
Support Unit of the RDTC provides strategic prescribing support services to Primary Care Trusts and other primary care organisations, and NHS Hospital Trusts across the North of England. This encompasses primary care prescribing analysis and critical analysis of new drugs to market as well as reviews of key medicine-related issues in the North of England. We also answer specific prescribing-related enquiries from primary care prescribing advisers, general practitioners and other NHS
healthcare professionals. For enquiries relating to therapeutics, individual patients or medicines, please contact our medicines information service.
We provide our services to NHS healthcare professionals across the North of England, particularly primary care pharmaceutical and medical advisers, Directors of Public Health, and NHS Hospital Trust Chief Pharmacists.
