In 2010 it was agreed that the functions of the previous GM Interface Prescribing Subgroup and the GM New Therapies Subgroup should merge to form one new subgroup.
This new group brings together medical and pharmaceutical representation from relevant trusts and independent advice from the Wolfson Unit to consider new applications and to make recommendations on new drugs and RAG status to the parent GMMMG and local Drug and Therapeutics Committees of Greater Manchester NHS organisations.
